Hi, welcome to my blog!

Thanks for stopping by! I can automatically tell we have the same great taste in photography simply because you’ve gotten this far and you’re reading this. ;)

To be quite honest, I never could write these 'about me' bio's well, so don't laugh when I tell you some random corny things about myself. Actually, please do laugh, I'd rather have it that way! I’m an Albuquerque native. I love to travel anywhere, but particularly to the northwest…I’ve had such epic adventures up there, I could write a movie script about it. Sometimes I think I was a North Westerner in my previous life or a bird or something. I’m an Aries. I never win anything…no, really. I can't think of one single thing I've ever won. Do video games count? OK, I guess I take that last thing back. I sing in the shower. I love movies. I love laughing out loud and often. I absolutely looooove eating out. If you said you loved sushi, steak, bacon, burger & fries, Kit Kats, and just about any dessert, then you already had me at hello. Yes, I definitely fall under the category of ‘live to eat’. I have two small Japanese Chin dogs that I just adore. Except for when they poop on my carpet, that's just not nice. I have a beautiful wife and two amazing little boys that brighten each and every one of my days. I sleep with my camera underneath my pillow and would consider it as my third child. Yep, it's pretty serious, this photography thing.

If I had to describe how I envision my photographs, it would be modern, artistic, dramatic, genuine, romantic, and fun. I shoot with a photojournalistic style capturing details and genuinely candid moments, add some modern vision, throw in a mix of artistic flare and just watch that reaction. Kinda like a nuclear bomb going off and seeing a mushroom cloud….yah, that’s what it’s like. =)

Joanne & Adrian | Albuquerque Engagement Photography

Joanne and Adrian are perfect together. It’s when you look away for just a moment and turn back to find them giggling together. Trying to get a reaction from them is as simple as having them look at each other. That’s when you know these are two peas in a pod. Can’t wait to photograph these guys at their wedding!

Wedding Day Stories

I want to share with you a beautiful wedding story I had the fortunate opportunity to help photograph at Casas De Suenos in Old Town. I shot along side Tamara of Tamara Farmerie Photography in what was one of the most gorgeous and heartfelt weddings I’ve been to. I want to thank her for having me along in this special event. Every wedding is different, but every single one of them is so unique and special in their own way. All the hard work and planning that goes into one monumental day definitely pays off and shows in the details. Then seeing everything come together when friends and loved ones bring the joy and laughter, it makes what I do so enjoyable. It’s when I get to capture that beautiful moment, that outrageously funny story, that gorgeous detail, that tear jerking hug…that’s what reminds me of why I love wedding day stories so much.

Miriah & Brett | Albuquerque Engagement Photography

As soon as I met Mariah and Brett, I knew we right away we would be a good pairing. The fun and laughter between these two is amazing. You can’t help but have your spirits lifted hanging out with them. I can’t wait for their wedding, I just know it will be full of emotions and laughter. If I’m not mistaken, they were highschool sweethearts. True love at it’s finest!
